Knitting for Research

Barbara is once again running the Boston marathon in 2008 with the Run for Research Team raising funds for the Liver Foundation. To achieve her fundraising goals, she is selling her knitwear, which she makes when she is not running road races -- she tends to run one per weekend, sometimes three (but don't tell Coach Brian). She has been seen knitting in bars while her fellow runners are drinking a half-marathon away.

She can also knit by request if you prefer different colors or want another type of sweater, hat or whatever -- just ask her. She uses Lambs Pride and Cascade yarns but will use other brands if you request it. The entire price amount will go towards her fundraising efforts.
